Multi-Storey Deck

Demolition of old and construction of new second and third floor walk out decks at back of home on beautiful lot on the Irvine River Gorge in Salem, ON.  This project offered many challenges including removal of the very rickety original deck structure which was three stories above ground. The new deck was constructed out of pressure treated lumber with cedar cladding built on bedrock piers.  The scope of the project grew as it became evident the existing structure of the home had been compromised over time by water. To resolve this, there were structural repairs required to the home including installation of new windows and doors.  The homeowners can now enjoy a safe outdoor space without worry of further compromise to the structure of their home.
